"Coming Home" function - how to use?

6. Coming Home Lighting settings
Navigate to 09 - Central Electronics - Byte 12

Untick Bit 2 to make it automatic.

Click here and scroll down to the 6th item in the 2nd post.

By the way, I tried this last night and "flicking" the high beams on didn't work for me because I was flicking it too fast

You have to hold the high beams on for at least one second for it to work... I had to RTFM in my car.

Can this feature be turned on for 2013 multivan comfortline? (I dont have auto on switch)

That would be a question for the Transporter, Multivan, Caravelle, Kombi forum, not Mk6 Golf. But if you don't have auto headlights then it's unlikely.
