Hi all,

My golf 6 118tsi have been making funny clicking sounds (it's like when an object is stopping a turning fan) when I start my car and i'm pretty sure its not a normal ignition car sound. the sound only last for a few seconds (1 or 2 sec). This doesn't happen every time when i start my car but it at least occurs once or twice a day. I don't know if its got to do with the engine or perhaps the fan? I brought it to service the other day and they say they could not hear the sounds, and that is because it doesn't happen all the time. One thing is clear is that it's coming from the bonnet as the sound is really prominent from theoutside.

Does anyone have the same experience?
