They're providing a car wash service for which you can reasonably expect not to damage your car.

Before jumping to conclusions that you need respraying or the damage itself i would highly suggest taking your car professional and asking for advice to see what can be done.

If you like to come by here we would be more than happy to assess things for you and let you know what needs to be done as you will be surprised how much can be done without having to paint the car etc and be cost effective and give you the result you like!

But we definitely always suggest never taking your car to a car wash full stop for the obvious reasons.

i used a touch free "lazerwash" place for 5 years with my old mazda 3 - paint was perfect when it got written off.

Seems to be going just fine with my GTI too. Definitely would never use one that had brushes!

Definitely agree with CCP on this one. It's quite amazing what products are out there. And not to mention very good detailers that can work their magic. A respray might be a drastic step at this stage. Go and see CCP products first!

Something to consider people, the touch free washes use very harsh chemicals to clean your car, (how else would you get a car clean without any agitation) these chemicals can dry out rubbers and plastic trim, can also leave water spots if not rinsed off well enough, and don't get into all parts of your car that need to be cleaned.

If you really care for your car and don't have the time or room to wash it, consider a professional detailer.

Not only are there harsh chemicals, but they are under high pressure meaning that can get into seams but rinse water will not necessarily get into the seams.

Next time you go to a car wash go to a touchless Carwash at least. And just shammy it down.

or take it to a hand car wash. none of this automated brush rubbish.
im very time poor, so i take my car to the hand car wash guys all the time. they do a very good job (much better than i could do in similar time) and the cost is more than agreeable with me. plus, its not like i own a super exotic car. its a daily driver.
