Intake manifold is in and runs loads smoother with no rattle or sputter when I hold it at 1400 rpm. It has not fixed the cold start splutters though but they don't seem as bad and it clears up quicker, but my car did run crap at low rpm and light throttle due to the manifold. Might try a new pre cat O2 sensor, I've already put in a coolant temp sensor.

New intake manifold in. Runs like a dream but still have little jerks when cold under light throttle and lie rpm. After 2 minutes of driving there are no issues. With 130000klms on the clock I can live with this.

Similar thing on my 2.0T also, around 2500rpm'ish only when the engine oil temp is less than 50 degree celsius or so. Occurs only when I run 5w30 oil, but doesn't do it when I run 0w40

Just ordered pre cat O2 sensor and an intake temp sensor just to see if these improve this issue. I've no faults but with the high klms it's probably about time I cleaned and replaced some sensors.

Did the intake manifold solve the problem? No more jerking etc? Or are you still getting the small misfires?

That's interesting that you mention the oil. Mine is exactly the same and will jerk around when the oil temp is less than 80-90 degrees. After that, the car is as smooth as can be.
Thanks for the info btw. Going to give 0w40 a try on the next oil change

No intake manifold didn't fix the issue although the car does run better but my manifold was shot. Jerking is not as violent and is quicker to clear up, around when oil temp is 60+. I'm going to try a new manifold temp sensor and pre cat O2 sensor.

Just found this, it's an old thread but is almost the same symptoms as what I'm having in this thread and my other thread regarding clutch issues. Ant thoughts would be appreciated.

    Hey Reedy.

Watched your video, so it seems to be a 'clutch' related issue, e.g: when you're operating the clutch the stumble and fuel consumption figures seem to be affected, yet when no operation of clutch everything seems normal?
