Can you turn off the seatbelt warning "ding"?

I don't think driving without a seat belt is all that sensible. Other things happen besides collisions with other cars.

Friend of mine was doing the same thing on a property in WA when they hit a very large pot hole.

He bounced out of the seat, his head hit the roof resulting in 5 crushed/cracked vertebrae and he now has a spine full of titanium screws and has been told that it is likely that he will never be pain free.

He is sure sorry he wasn't wearing his seat belt on private property.

Not preaching but just relating some genuine experience.

I'm with the OP, would love it disabled. There are times when cruising at low speeds where I need to pop off my seatbelt and it can be very annoying.

Seriously, I don't need a *ding* to tell *ding* me to *ding* put on my seatbelt. We are all (mostly) adults and can take care of ourselves I hope!

Yeah its very simple to disable with VagCom. I have disabled mine even though I always wear my seatbelt. In some circumstances l find the chimes to be annoying.

That's when you can just click the passenger's belt in..
