funny you say that. I gave my a bit of a thrashing for the first time last night and thought to myself the same thing. Its free so if i dont like it i suppose i can turn it off.
ah beautiful, thanks mate ill have a look for it tommorrow
Sounds like a pretty good deal for that kit. Pity about the luxury car tax just kicking in, eh? I was impatient and I was afraid of missing out if I played hard ball. Did you get a sunroof and the MDI? I think they are the only other options (apart from the as-yet unavailable bi-xenons) available - and you didn't list them.
Yep, got the sunroof and mdi. Murfeytheelf im pretty sure luxury take wasnt that much maybe only 150-300 dollars. Not that I like paying it but not a great deal when you consider the price of the car.
PS i bought it under my business name so maybe the taxing is different
Nope. LCT applies regardless when you hit $57,180 (before rego, stamp duty etc.). You'll get your 50% deduction come tax time in July next year. On top of that, you've pretty much reached the limit with how far the investment allowance goes (up to LCT threshold). So you should be able to claim the maximum deduction of $28,590 plus normal deductions as well. Enjoy your GTI.
Picked up my GTI today, awesome car, wonderful to drive.
Cant wait to get her out tomorrow for a proper drive, going to be awesome
Love the car![]()

just an update. loaded the revo software today, the car feels awsome. It seems to handle the power much better than a Mark V, hardly any wheel spin. I should try setting the suspension on sport to see how it really handles.
I also installed the factory bluetooth kit. works perfectly and the best part is you cant see it
Nice update, sounds like there are a few suspension and handling improvements with the mk6.
What exactly is the dealer Bluetooth these days? I've got the skoda oem kit and believe it's the best one out there.
