Sorry GeorgeM for sending this OT. Hope you enjoy your new golf.
Murfeytheelf- The DynaAudio sound system sounds good to me, im not really a stereo type person so as long as its clear and crisp sounding im happy.
I actually didnt get the bluetooth kit with the car, a friend of mine at volkswagen gave me the basic one not the premium. I still havent had a chance to install it but im sure it will do the job.
In regards to the software option. I chose revo technik because I am a revo dealer and have been impressed by the ones I have done so far. So it is the natural path for me.
In response to the comments about revo as a company, whether they are true or not (this is the first I have heard of them but then again I dont really get involved that much), keep in mind that these comments take away business from guys like me that have nothing to do with revo itself.
I realise that this forum is a major supporter of APR, im not here to compare products or take away business from them, therefore I do not wish to be part of any debates concerning these products.

Congrats on the new GTI George, I bet the wait was painful?
Look forward to some pics too, CW would look pretty clean.
I'd consider all the options out there, another person i know with Revo in their new S3 isn't overly impressed.
Big_Yellow if that's true it would still be intellectual property of the company, unless he re wrote it all from scratch again.

There are a few people chiming in without even congratulating George on the new car, and also obviously pushing products and the fanboi nonsense/brand bashing is getting a bit much.
But you're right there are a few different sponsors on the forums.. not sure about Revo, could be something to look into George?
That sig is pretty big Terence,![]()
Congrats on the new car , same specs as what I would have chosen !
I think people are forgeting long ago APR use to buy software from Giac![]()
Right, let's try this again without the chip war. I've left some comments about the chips involved which contain information without being totally antagonistic.
Nicely spec'd there mate and welcome. Hopefully the behaviour of some of our members hasn't put you off the forum.
Enjoy your car.
Cheers,

Welcome to the forum mate.
Sounds like a nice car, look forward to some pics.
Hey George,
Congrats, any comments on the price, the dealer, the service, the purchase process in general..
SilvR
hey guys thanks for the comments, SilvrFoxx i payed just under $59000. I didnt really have to wait long, i only made up my mind to buy a new car one week before i purchased it. I was lucky that someone had ordered this car and pulled out at the last minute.
I purchased the car from denlo at parramatta. Their service was excellent I would highly recommend them to anyone buying a new volkswagen. Even with the Gti shortage they still gave me a decent discount.
I will take some photos on the weekend after i wash it and post them. Having the car in the workshop all day gets it dirty pretty quickly.
Quick question to all the gurus. whats the deal with tyre pressure monitors, do these cars have them as a standard option. I dont seem to have the button above my gearshift knob
Beautiful! I just drove this car flat chat around Calder and it really needs a revo whatever - NOT!
Sorry, I don't recommend it. But, it's your ride. Congratulations! I just hope you give it some thought before you make any rash decision to modify it in any way. Really, it's outstanding as it is.
