New here, and hoping I can get some guidance.
I've never had anything to do with Golf's before, so please forgive the simplicity of the questions.
My daughter is looking at a new MY10 118TSI or 103TDI (not really fussed either way), in Auto. Presumable the petrol will be cheaper than the diesel. It's her first "good car", and thus doesn't want options that will push the price up.
What's a reasonable OTR price for each, after all the argie-bargie is over. In NSW.
Thanks for your help
You should do a search, most of these questions have been addressed in-depth before.

Golf 118TSI vs. 103TDI
If she doesn't want too many options, I'd say just add the MDI (allows you to control most media devices via the stock head unit) and possibly Park Assist or just the rear parking sensors in the 118TSI.
If she is buying an auto because she does lots of stop start driving in heavy traffic then she (or you) should do some research about DPFs and their problems in that sort of driving (short version of advice - "buy a petrol, not a TDI with a DPF").
