Brokers get a better price?????
I have always been amazed at brokers who come into forums pretending to be genuine forum users. They try and paint this picture that a broker would get a better price than you could because 1. He is a really nice guy and would do it for free and 2. They have the ability to get discounts the average Joe couldn't. Both are wrong wrong wrong
brokers make minimum $500 off the dealer per vehicle sold off the dealer and it is added onto the cost of the car. How else do they get payed?? Some I'd then will spin the line that they get their money by doing you finance so the Broking is free, reality is they get payed on both. As for their special relationship with dealers, this equates to an email or fax to 2 or 3 demanding best price. Nothing you couldn't do yourself

the rest of the advice although coming from what would appear to be a broker seems to gave some strong dealership knowledge behind it (maybe ex salesman) and is sound
