Yeh, have considered replacing pads, but to get less dust means harder pads and you loose that lovely smooth brake progression. Now if it WAS a rally car...

Actually the brake feel with the Remsa pads is much better than the stock ones. It was instantly noticeable.

GSL Rallysport (sponsor on here) and they were just under $250 for the full set. Heaps less dust too.

I am looking at replacing my current R (silver with silver wheels) with a newby. I am told it can take around 6 - 12 months to have one delivered from the factory. So I thought I would start now and go on the good old waiting list.

I am just seeking some opinions on type of wheels to order. What would look cooler, but maintain the R's subtle looks and not attract attention from the authorities? My choice of colour is the United Grey colour, as I have not seen many of this colour on the road - not many in my silver too, I might add.

What colour wheels to order - The 19" Silver wheels or the 19" Black wheels from the factory?

That is the biggest thing I have to worry about on this Friday LOL

    Cheers

    Silver 19's
    Much classier
And if u scratch the rims on a gutter far less noticeable.

I originally ordered silver then switched to black then went home downloaded some pics and decided to go for the silver again lol the r is rising blue. I just think for an old guy like me the silver looks a little classier lol

Good decision, the RB is much better for the Silver rims.. I hope you didn't order the 19s

With the grey exterior I vote the silver rims. The black wheels look really hot on white R's but on the grey it doesn't really have the same appeal.

I like the Silver, preferrably 18s as you get the silver cowling in the xenons which makes it pop. Black wheels seems to lift White, compliment black but everything else is a coin toss. UG you could go either way

Black by far. Much more purposeful. Compliments the other black detailing on the car, especially with dark window tint.

Although the silver is a fine look...a prettier, lighter style.

Why not buy some dark aftermarket wheels now, run them until the replacement arrives...order it with 18's in silver (to work with the silver headlight accents) and run what appeals to you mood...
