After driving my golf for a few weeks I found I actually liked not having tint on the windows and having the better visibility. I decided to do something different and ended up putting ultra performance 75 on it.
It looks like its still tinted but it a lot lighter than other cars when you see them close to each other.

Don't have problem with rear view at night. Cops no prob , definitely cooler than no tint when in sun.

Man. I feel gipped going 35% legal now. I feel like half the tinted cars i see are darker than 35% and wished i had gone down that path than worrying about getting busted. Even mazda's stock cars look darker than 35%.
The 35% dont seem to be as effective at heat reduction as the dark tint i had on a rental X trail which really kept out the heat.
Lesson for others... Go bad ass 10%!!
