B Pillar clicking / ticking & door rubber / seal creaking / squeaking

Just had Austral fix a similar issue with an intermittent noise today. They diagnosed it as the fuel line and protective sheath running in a channel from the engine bay down past drivers seat. They have injected a foam filler in the cavity to stop the noise. Will see how it goes.

    Lubricant to cure door creaking.

Does anyone know what lubricant and where you apple to cure the creaking? I've taken this to vw and the lubricant lasted about 1year, the noise is back. Apparently, it's a known defect .

Loosen the latch mechanism, and spray silicone lube between the latch and the door where their surfaces touch. Then re-tighten the latch firmly.

    Rubber door seal creak

Need some help. The rubber door seals on my doors are very creaky. Most noticeable when driving over rougher surfaces or slowly over very uneven. Have had them replaced before under VW Warranty but new extended warranty doesn’t cover them. So I have tried all sorts of lubricants to stop the creaking. Used an expensive preservative/lubricating oil, silicone spray even Vaseline. Not effect, although the Vaseline now seems to have made the door a bit sticky. The oil and silicone were absorbed by the runner in minutes.

Anyone else had this issue and been able to solve, without replacing them?

    Many thanks.

Google "Einszett Gummi Pflege" - I have used it as a regular treatment - easy to apply like a shoe polish applicator.

The only thing that will work in my experience is Gummni Pfledge, carcareproducts sell it. You're probably going to need to get the oily stuff off as well - use a general purpose cleaner/detergent. This is what the dealers use anyway (even if it is rebranded and charged at 4x the cost.....BMW....cough....)

    Also lubricate the latch mechanisms.

The door seals are only a small part of the problem.
