Car is fully engineered and legal!
It still runs factory R32 ECU.
Any car regardless of age needs to be engineered! If anything the newer the car the easier it is to engineer as we run factory ecu's
    No emission problems..

Visited my dealer today to close out some final tweaks to my order and got more info about this car.

This guy has spent over 200k. It's converted to AWD and apparently it absolutely hammers. Looks stock but goes sick.

Bit weird if you ask me. I can think of many other car options with 200k.

In other news... GTI 35 will not be at Melbourne motorshow, only the Sirocco R. GTI 35 is still not confirmed for Oz..

Haha, "the" guy has posted 2 above....and to be honest... whatever the figure is irrelevant.
From info I have read on another forum this is another of his "projects" and more power to him.
I would love to read a full build thread on the Wagon as well as his twin turbo Golf....

Theres heaps of cars out there much quicker than my R, its not exactly a rocket ship. But still doesn't change the point I was making.

Good on you for doing something completely insane. I was at CPC a month or two ago and the workmanship on that is simply stunning. The Golf I mean. I saw the wagon but didn't realise how special it was.

I think he is talking about the twin turbo R36 golf not the wagon!
Not that 200k has been spent, actually no where near! The wagon was well under 100k and will be capable of low 12sec 1/4 mile sprints and low 4sec 0-100!

    The R36 golf ran a 11.3@126mph today and a 3.4sec 0-100!
That was done on a damp eastern creek straight at wsid is closed.

The problem is there is always Chinese whispers and people get confused and don't really know the truth!

I don't mind sharing, but if it turns into a slagging match I'll stop!

Thanks mate! The credit goes out to CPC as without them it wouldn't happen! But there is more exciting things to come.
