Anyone installed a Newsouth boost gauge?

    Hey Guys,
Just started installing my Newsouth boost gauge and column pod. In the instructions it says to run the boost tube through the passenger side of the firewall behind the battery. Now this is the driver's side in the US so I'm wondering if I go via that route will I have enough tubing to get all the way over to the AU driver's side once it's through the firewall? I've looked on the driver's side and can't for the life of me find anywhere to run the tube through the firewall?

    Cheers
    Simon

If you have DSG, apparently there is a clutch blank that you could route the cables through. Don't know for manual.

I have a manual I'm as far as the centre console with the tubing but I don't think there'll be enough May have to order some more and join it (which isn't that hard) but means I'll have to wait a week or so unless anyone knows where I can get some in AU?

I had this dilemma running cables to my Podi gauge. I was originally mounting the sender down near the passenger headlight, but thought there wasn't enough cable to run into the car and across the car to the drivers side.
So I mounted it on the drivers side, and then realised there was not a single place on the drivers side to run the cables in, the only place I could find (after a lot of poking around looking for alternatives) was the entry point behind the battery, so back across to the passenger side it went. The cables *just* reached to behind the fuse box, phew.

Any pics of where you mounted the gauge? I ended up having to go through the firewall behind the battery too. Luckily there was JUST enough tubing to reach, I'm talking about 10mm spare :S

Supercheap Autos, Autobahn, Repco... etc. They all stock this kind of vacuum hose.
