25 here. I'm a builder and project manager whose worked pretty hard to get the things I want since I was 16. I'm always sore, always tired, always pushing to get the next frame or fix or lockup done before the next progress payment. I don't drink, don't smoke, and don't do drugs and rarely go out partying, and I damn well think I deserve to spend $59k on myself if I can't have any other vices, without like minded enthusiasts assuming I was born with my hand in the money pot.

Here I was thinking a Golf was an unpretentious euro.

    Danny,

No need to justify, some folk are surprised that some so young can be successful and want to be conspicuous about it. Enjoy and celebrate

    LOL nice fishing line....I'll bite!

I placed my order before 30 but could be 40 by the time it rocks up. But it's pretty easy, you just need a different perspective. Not everyone has kids or a wife to fund, they're happy renting or hell they're just more successful than others at the same point!

That said, there are always a few people whose parents are still feeding them. Good luck to them.

Iim 29, and have always worked and saved for cars. Not malnutritioned. Just dont blow $200 a weekend on piss as I dont drink. Not a druggy. And have always worked since I was able to as a kid, 14/9 mths! Only last year I stopped full time work to go to university. I have saved enough for a $60K car thats for sure. And I dont work in the mines.

Maybe in 2-3 years when I move to buy a house with my GF, I'll have to cut back on the toys.. But I know people who are teachers, grew up in the western suburbs in some tougher parts of sydney.. and they have their own big ass house etc.. You can do it If you work hard!

The only people I know who are nearly 30 and dont have a descent car, or a house their paying off, or travel all the time.. or anything which is fun.. either dont work, work part time ina coffee shop, or havent held a job or they have terrible spending habbits (like cutting their hair at Tony and Guy for a $100.. when they are a man!! (or maybe my crack head friends)

I guess for me I can thank my parents for always saying to me put away my coin and not smash it on rubbish.. I still live but just have to be careful
