Even MORE surprising though was that the Polo (yes, the current old one! lol) got 2nd Place in the http://www.australiasbestcars.com.au/2009/mid_under.htm award! WTF

As expected the R32 also was 2nd place to the BMW 135i in the http://www.australiasbestcars.com.au/2009/sports.htm category.

So I would say that VW is very well setup for next year. The new Polo is HEAPS better than the current one, and the Golf R should improve enough to beat the BMW 135i.
