Hi all, I'm sure someone on this forum can help, you all seem to know quite a bit about everything VW! Thanks.
Anyway, I've had my 90TSI for about 5 months, and just over the weekend it was pointed out to me by my father that there was a lump or bump in the sidewall of one of my tyres. On closer inspection, there were 1-2 on each of the four tyres!
Is this normal? It goes down INTO the tyre (ie. a channel) by at least 2mm. It seems to run from the edge of the tread towards the bead of the tyres (ie. across the sidewall). The tyres are Continental 15".

I rang the dealer and they said it was normal, but to bring it in for an inspection. Has anyone come across this issue?
Cheers.
Looks normal to me.
