90,000km service is only an air filter and pollen filter on top of the basic service.
So around $400 from an independant, or around $500 from a dealer.
hi,
Anyone had their 90k yet, how major is this? I had heard some 118's had cam chain issues around this age... Any other reports of this, I imagine it would be costly to replace a chain...or does the 1.4 TSi have two chains?

A 30k service is around $695 anywhere in the sydney metro area. $500 would be for a 15k service
CPS price list said $465 through a dealership, which is what I based my estimate on.
Always best to ring, and be sitting down while doing so.

Verdict?
I was quoted $440 (or something around that mark) for my 2 year (30k) service by the local dealership. They did say something about brake fluid flush too, but said it was "optional" and they'd check to see if it was needed. I ended up having the service down elsewhere and in my case the fluid was replaced earlier this year anyway.
Interesting that brake fluid is on the list for this car yet I've never heard it mentioned for any other car I've had... Are they using something special which attracts moisture particularly??

Brake fluid has always been every 24 months, and the 90,000km service is 72 months by time.
