Hi gents,
I already post in Tiguan Thread , but just repeat here to let all VW Owners up to date :
Got my 2012 Tiguan -132 Pacific Model in Feb . My Tiguan have done 3000Km so far so good , the only thing I notice is the car some time make noise/vibration around 1000 – 1300 rpm as other members have mention before .
I rang up and spoken to [mailto:Jana.Hleis@volkswagen.com.au] VW customer care , she then direct me to VW service Department in Parramatta Sydney where i bought the car.
Spoken to the Tech Adviser - he told me that he have number of customer having the same issue. He confirmed that VW Australia is AWARE of this issue and a new software update will roll out to rectify this.
I have booked my details and a waiting list to update as soon as it available in Aus.
If your guys have the same issue then drop VW Customer Care a call or email to register for this update.
Note: This software update to the 6 speeds transmission is being carry out in US and Canada .
and here is my love one : Black Pear - 4 Motion with RNS510 - DVD is in motion .
I think It's for the Tip-tronic.
The VW site states the 132 Pacific comes with either a '6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic'.
The other variants available with the DSG state '7-speed DSG'
Explore the Tiguan's 4 variants. < Tiguan < Models < Volkswagen Australia
It a 6 speed Tiptronic . all Pacific model will fit with 6 speeds not DSG .
Isn't Tiptronic a Porsche term? No VW has a Tiptronic AFAIK.
