Not much info stated mate... Have you changed your driving route lately? Habits changed? Fuel station changed? How many km's on car? All these factors can give different fuel consumption readings...
Hi all iv had my car for just under two years now and iv slowly noticed im getting less and less per tank!
Last few months im averaging about 600kms per tank! anyone else have similar issues?
iv also noticed the fuel gauge is inaccurate, showing less than whats in the tank.

Maybe O2 sensor, just happened to a friends tdi but he got a light on the dash. Maybe your particulate filter needs a clean or replace or something.

Something out of left field..
I'm almost certain my thermostat is stuck open - car takes a long time to heat up even with the heater off.. Have noticed poorer economy especally on short trips (not so much on long hauls)...
How's the operating temperature going during your drives (both oil & water)? Do they both rise as per normal?
As for the fuel gauge - I've never had a car that hasn't had an under-reading fuel gauge.. I guess it's to get you to a service station quicker??

it seems to get to temp just fine and sit nicely.
as for the fuel gauge it shows 3 quarters when in fact its full.
i know im getting poor consumption because i physically ran out of fuel thinking iv still got 200 odd ks to go:/
how much worse are you talking Anthony?

Aah 3/4 when full is bad... Definitiely a problem there.. Is the car still under warranty? Could the two problems (wrong gauge & poor consumption) be linked? It'd definitely throw the trip computer out as the car doesn't know how much diesel is in there...
As for the temperatures on my car - water temp used to get to 90º well before the oil got to 90º (and the oil used to continue rising to sit in a band from say mid 90's to low 100's depending on driving style and the temperature of the day)... Now water struggles to get to 90º and will even decrease on steady motorway driving (even when the heater is off)... Oil takes ages to get to temperature too... They're very specific symptoms in my case so if your car isn't doing this I'd probably discount it as a cause...
In my case I'm guessing about 10-15% worse economy which makes sense given it's not getting to optimum temperature.. Car is a month away from a service so I'll get it looked at then...
