Good Day ( Apologies to those seeing this thread again )
I purchased a golf with blown CAVD motor then replaced it with a CTH motor. Before I noticed the fuel was on E. On road test I went to the servo and filled up with $10
I checked for codes, then measuring blocks. The gauge resistance is said to be 510 ohms. I did not pull the pump unit out because When I unplugged the pump and relay, I was expecting an open circuit fault on the cluster module but the fault remained the same (resistance too high). The vehicle has one pump module/ gauge (or at least that's all I could see). I tried to do adaptation as per Wiki but the menus and options to define resistance etc were not popping up. The access code on wiki was denied by the module. Not sure what to do next.
