2 types of mk6 gti's?

i keep seeing different gti's around.. one with just single side exit exhuast with twin tips and then the ones with the single tip on each side of the car...

whats the difference?? or is there a choice when you order..

As far as I am aware The Mk6 GTi is only available from the factory with a single circular tailpipe on each side of the rear bumper.

Lots of people modify them so you may be seeing aftermarket jobs.

GTI and GTD?

The Mk6 GTD has 2 pipes together coming out the passenger side.
The Mk6 GTI has 1 pipe on either side of the car.

You should be able to spot the GTD quite easily as they have a different style rim to the GTI and chrome parts on the front grill.
