Thank you for responding so quickly, Corey_R, as you usually do, in a derogatory manner.
The wheels I have, I chose, because Fab_R put them on his R. The only place I could find them in Oz was in Victoria where he purchased his. I had them freighted to Qld and fitted them myself (thats individual!) To date I've not seen another car with these wheels (other than Fab_R's, and he's changed his since) It doesn't alter the fact that there's 2000 Golfs out there with Detroits and probably less than 200 with BBS (or replicas), and probably less than 5 with these wheels. All I'm trying to do is inform newer members, (IMHO), that there is alternatives to these outdated wheels. (Detroits)
Heres some photos for your amusement:

    You're welcome!

And hey, I'm not the only person with the opinion. Another member recently said if he sees another Golfer with CH's on their car he's going to scream (or something more profain) but can't recall which thread that was in.

Anyway, I understand your point, but I'd still go for something more unique than CH's if you were going to go to the expense of BBS'

    Brian, looks great.

What's the weight of each wheel?

My concerns about reps is the weight and construction quality.

Agree, haven't seen many of the CH's in Brissie, where Brian is, and the stance of his car is pretty impressive.
And he is certainly the only one in the carpark at Virginia, where there are a few GTI's, polos, jettas and even an R.

    Hi John,
Don't know the exact weight, can let you know next week when I put the standard wheels/tyres back on for a prospective buyer that wants the standard wheels . Obviously they are heavier than the OEM 16's (vs 19s), could feel that when I fitted them. The finish is immaculate on these wheels. As for construction, they are forged wheels like the BBS, but who knows the quality in the long run. China vs Czech Republic? Bit of a toss up there I'd think. Personally Id steer toward China, buts that MHO
