You better not get CAI then:)
I've got a cat back system and the forge intake and it gets a lot of attention now especially underground car parks.lol.
If you want nice hp gains get a S3 cooler for it.

I wouldn't mind a nice rumble, I'm just trying to get a feel for the volume I guess :)
I was searching YouTube two days ago for some videos, some sounded pretty, good, others were a bit too noisy.

Have noticed a drop in fuel consumption -0.5l per 100km on )the short term and .2l per 100km (8.7l/100km) on the long term meter- with normal driving style with some spirited acceleration Mt .
An very impressed at this stage.
I reset my stats on Wednesday, have done some spirited driving + FWY to/from work and was surprised to see my average read 6.5 - I've never got the long term average as high as 8 before. The Stage 1 really does help once you settle down.
I think the traffic I sit in to and from Uni (4 days a week) kills the consumption something chronic so hoping to see an improvement as I put more Km's in the engine. It used to sit around high 9's until about the 9000km mark and have only just ticked over 13 000km today.
Hi everyone!
I hope someone will see this thread after all these years. I own a 2011 118tsi and am looking for a CAI and an s3 intercooler. Unfortunately Rennenhaus has closed down and i dont know where to go for the forge CAI in Australia. Does anyone know where in Australia i can buy an s3 intercooler and a CAI?
Thanks
Harry
