    Angry Intake Manifold Flap Position Sensor error.

    Hi Guys
    Has anyone had this error and able to DYI fix. 2010 Tiguan DTI Auto.
    1 Fault Found: Car Runs fine. Erased error always returns after car is turned off.

    008213 - (Bank 1)
    P2015 - 000 - Implausible Signal - MIL ON
    Freeze Frame:
    Fault Status: 11100000
    Fault Priority: 2
    Fault Frequency: 1

    intake manifold sensor flap

    I was hoping to just replace the intake flap housing + electric motor. the car runs fine.
    No warranty.

    Problem solved ,TOUCH WOOD!
    Removed plastic cover off the flap motor.
    Rotate gears and lubricate. Gears were stuck, needed to put some pressure on the mechanical flapper arm to free the gears up.
    Gears appeared ok and smooth motion. cleared error and all seems good so far.
    Cheers, hope others have the same luck. $750 quote for a new 2012 vw tiguan intake manifold.
