The new baby... (well not really that new...)

Ok... After the Polo (check in the for sales) this is the VR6 i need to give love and attention to...
So far she has coilovers and a pod filter... That's it...
I have big plans for this one and hopefully will have it passable in the near future - ordered a new set of shoes for her today, so hopefully that will smarten her up a bit...

I think the dirt is holding the remainder of the strips on...

    Missing parts add character....right...

    I'll keep you updated

Yessss - still have the MK1 (got a 76 GLS 2dr too - that's getting more attention at the moment because the body is in better condition)... You've probably seen the Polo is going... Sad sad sad day...
But the VR6 should clean up pretty well - have already got some little fog lights, new blinkers and a new set of shoes... Can't wait to put them on!
What's getting you around these days?

Any hints on what shoes or is it a secret to build the suspense?

Ohhhhh very different.... was going euro, but changed my mind at the last minute and went a bit out there.
They're very "race look" and very black.... and this makes me a bit worried... a bit "jap"... Geeeez i hope they look ok...will soon see i guess!

I'm getting a set of BBS rims very similar the the ones in your signature pic for the MK1 - so i think i can justify getting these for the VR...

Will you all hate me if I let you know i'm painting it a different colour...
The problem is i love silver cars too much - my Polo is silver... and i have to sell it - this reminds me too much of her... Pathetic i know... Go and look at her in the classifieds - she's just stunning...

Ohhhh.... I might wait now and keep you all waiting until i have the wheels on the car, then i'll post some more pics then... The shoes make the outfit - and the car... I love shoes for cars as much as i love shoes for me

Pearl white - i figure it's got a lot of nice lines so it can probably hold a pearl colour pretty well. But which colour to pick.. There are so many shades of pearl white!!!!!
Have smoked blinkers and fog lights so it will be a nice contrast too...
    Your thoughts?

Pearl white would be pretty nice.
I agree it will show the lines of the car.

I would probably go a shade with green or blue or purple in it.

Best sticking to factory-ish colours as well as it will hurt re-sale value if you have a bright green frog car.
