Found a new use for the Golf - picking up firewood on the way home.

My mountain bike is under there somewhere too. Who needs a trailer when you can carry so much in the back.

    Paul,
I noticed your missing your brake light too!
Mine kept falling off, araldite seemed to hold it on well.

We should have a new thread- "what's in the boot of your mk2 today?"

I've managed to carry so many different things- from bar fridges and gym equipment to countless numbers of those big plastic storage boxes when moving house!

I know I can fit in 4 wheels (with tyres) and my mountain bike and still have some room left over.

I sold the RA's to golfmeup so I've been running these 17's for a couple of weeks. I lowered the front about 2cm so the stance was a bit better too.

They look good but I'm not a fan of how rough they made my daily drive to work and back home (2 hours and 180ks each day). Got some 15's off MK1@4motion tonight, straight down to the local carpark and they were on the car 20 min later.

    Before

    After

They may not look as good but so much nicer to drive on. I'll take some pix in the morning and might lower the car some more too. With a bit of luck the missus won't notice they're different.

    Cheers

    Paul

Looks pretty good. The 17's gives it that tuner look but the 15's are still pretty good looking... Enjoy
