WTB: Mk5 GTI springs and shocks

    Hi all,

As per the subject, I'm looking for a set of OEM springs and shocks for a Mk5 Golf GTI, in good condition. Please PM me if you've got a set to sell!

    Thanks!

not sure if they'll fit mate but i have a set of oem shock that have just come off my 2010 s3 with only 25,000 k's on. also h&r 35mm springs with probably half those k's...

might be sprung and damped for the heavier awd though?

Thanks Richard, although this is for a Mk5 Comfortline, so I'm not sure they'll fit and they'd almost certainly be too firm and not ideal height (I'm trying to get away with a stock GTI look).

Ive got the stock springs and shocks out of my Mk6 GTI which were removed at around 65,000km. Only thing missing (i think - ill have to check) are the strut tops as i replaced these when i fitted the new suspension.

The Mk5 and Mk6 suspension is identical so it can be used across both platforms.

    Righto, not very exciting though!

    Before (stock):

After (Lucas_R's Mk6 GTI springs and shocks) (yes the drop is minor; an A/B of the images is the easiest way to see the change):

And fitted with a set of Denvers I had lying around from my old Mk6 GTI:
