GTI Detroit style wheels (non-genuine) with tyres

Set of four 18"x7.5" wheels (5x112, et45) in very good condition (no gutter rash at all) with 4 Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 225/40 18 tyres. 2 tyres near new, other 2 have plenty of tread but inside edge does show signs of wear from bad wheel alignment.

FINAL PRICE DROP:$500 Will be listed on ebay after this weekend.

    Genuine enquiries only please.

If you don't turn up or follow through with payment I'll be more than happy to list your name for everyone to be aware that you're a time waster.

I'm half tempted but I need to sell the spare set of 16" rims I've got sitting in my garage or my missus will lay an egg.

What weight is the wheel/tyre assy as I'm trying to lose weight off the corners, not gain.

edit: I'm also thinking classic GTI rims might look somewhat wanky/try-hard on a red pre-fl Skoda Octavia sedan even if the centre-caps have Skoda emblems on them. If someone wants to photoshop that - feel free

carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic
I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums

Being reps they'd be around same weight as original or slightly heavier, highly doubt they'd be lighter.

I had very little interest when trying to sell my Denver's on the forum, but they sold within the week on ebay.

I've had interest, just not genuine.

Looks like ebay and gumtree to the rescue....

My theory is most people on the VW Golf forums are enthusiasts and already driving GT/GTI's and R32's therefore already have our style of wheels, hence not to much interest.
Plus we're a relatively small community, ebay opens you up to the whole country (at least).

They'll sell and in my opinion for more than you're asking for now
