Sorry about the job Flappa...can a new Tig be a redundancy payment compensation?
Can't see any reference to a DAB+ radio - surely it has it?
And the Highline has 'premium' taillights - but no separate pix.

Unfortunately, I'm not that well paid to be able to afford a new Tig with any payout. Have to wait a while.
I did though venture into the dealers this morning to have a looksee at their new Blue TSI Comfortline.
One word . . . WOW !!
I was actually kind of hoping it wouldn't be so nice as the disappointment wouldn't be so great. I'm wrong. The thing is gorgeous. I didn't find it obvious it was bigger than the old. Was next to a toureg and its smaller than that. Roofline is obviously lower. Biggest surprise was the space inside. Its relevant of course, but its massive compared to the old one. This Comfortline had the DAP but not the luxury pack. The seats were awesome. Love the pattern, felt nice to sit in and plenty of adjustment. I'm 6 ft and had no issue and I didn't have the seat all the way down, or back. The digital dash is a beautiful in the flesh. I didn't have the chance to play with it all, but it looks so good. the 8 inch Screen in the entertainment, to me, looked just about the right size. I think anything bigger would be such a distraction. The alloys looked good. Chrome with a hint of black between the spokes. Would have looked brilliant against my Orange Tig . . sadly, not to be.
Adequate room in the boot.
Two things I didn't like. The double size roof console. I don't see the point. How many sunnies can you have and what else to use it for. The halogen lights. They are OK. They look better then the old tig, but not a pinch on the LED or Bi Xenon lights. Neither would have caused me to not buy the car, but I think the LED lights in the Highline will be so much better. Hopefully VW will change their mind and have them as standard or at least an option all through.
Overall, I think the new Tiguan is likely to be a winner.

Ex - 2015 Skoda Yeti
Soon - 2016 Tiguan
So no LED head lights and memory seats for the 132 Comfortline?Good enough reasons not to buy it!
My dealer called me yesterday. Next Tuesday they are having VIP night and launch. Don't know what models yet he was hush hush.

No unfortunately in Oz the way the model line-up is optioned the only way to get the LED headlights is to buy the Highline.
The DAP consists of:
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
- Side Assist with Rear Traffic Alert
- Active Info display
- Area View
- Power folding door mirrors
Except on the Highline you get the power folding mirrors as standard so the DAP on this model $250 cheaper.

Went to see the Black Comfortline with Lux Pack on display at Waverley Volkswagen. Nice.
