Hi All

I've decided to sell my GTI as I have recently purchased an R

Since my ownership (Nov 2015), I have done; 3 oil changes (5K intervals), replaced small radiator fan, installed wastegate rattle clip and completed a carbon clean.
Washed regularly and driven with care, the car still performs as expected with no issues whatsoever.

If a forum member purchases the car, I will keep the xenon headlights and LED taillights on the car as a thanks; otherwise it will be sold with stock halogen headlights and taillights to non-forum members.

Pricing for forum members; $15,000 as is. Looking for a quick sale, hence the price. Cheapest Mk6 GTI in Australia!

Pricing seems very reasonable to me based on Redbook; I'd say people are just a little put off by the high mileage. But that's preferable to a lower-mileage car that's done nothing but short trips and cold starts!

Yeah, i can understand that. I've also recently completed a carbon clean on it but i'm worried that people might take that as being a bad thing; so haven't mentioned it in the ad. People who might not know much about the issue may think its some catastrophic thing that has gone wrong! haha. I know that the car drives extremely well but i'm hoping people who are umming and errring come and see/drive the car as it is running so nicely. Oh well, will just see how everything goes

Sometimes a really low advertised price can count against you, depending on the target market. Some people will automatically overlook the cheapest (and the most expensive) cars and just pay attention to those around the median price range. :-/
