Was this at the cruise yesterday.
Some of you may know this car already from my build thread, others may have seen it at the Watercooled Annual BBQ yesterday. It has been a labour of love for the last few months, but now that it's done I need to find a new project!
What you are getting is a completely sorted Mk1, finished and running, ready to be loved and driven! By far one of the most fun cars I have ever owned, and I know one of the cars I will miss the most. Sadly I can't afford to keep it and buy a new car, and with only one garage space I wouldn't want to park it outside anyway!
Here's one photo, I will take some more this week and add them ASAP!
Here's the run down of what you'll get.

The fuel system was recently modified and tuned by Peter Bower (Bosch expert) and it's unbelievably good. Occasionally takes a couple of cranks to get going, but once started it cannot be faulted.
Before the engine conversion we cut out some small sections of rust in the passenger footwell and under the passenger seat. That was all repaired and then the roof, front quarters and driver's door were resprayed, everything else was sprayed about 7 years ago but the car was never driven afterwards and I bought it as a shell.
I am asking $9,000. The car is registered until August 2013.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. My build thread is in the Mk1 section, or if you want to come and take a look, I can fill you in on all the details (and show all receipts). Please PM me for my contact number.

Did u work with ryan b at silverwater not long ago?
Yeah man I did. You must be the mate with the Mk2!
I've been trying to get some fresh photos these last few days, but all the rain has made it a bit tough! Here are some shots from the build to give you all an idea. Hopefully get some more sorted this week.
