    Let's get into carbon wrapping?

It's all Todd's fault - SkodaFeast gave me the inspiration

Here is my first attempt at carbon wrapping out the brushed stainless look inside the cabin of my Octavia

Yeah I know, stuffed it up, did not match the weave on the gear lever surround with the compartment door
That's what happens when you're excited and do a rush job late at night (sounds a lot like another activity?)

I not sure where this will end, but at present I'm having fun and really like the look!

    Hey not bad at all...

You can buy those panels from our "mates" at superskoda...

Or you could have the interior like mine with the red stitching and carbon fibre inserts everywhere...Thats what finally sealed the deal for me when I purchased my car!

Nice job around the chrome strip of the compartment door too! did you have to cut a slit in it to make it stand out? well done for neatness!

I just assumed your VRS was like all others - I'll have to have a closer look next time

You gently heat the film and get it right into the groove on each side, then cut down each side and pull the top off, it's actually pretty easy to do (I will improve with practice) as the film is very thin and very easy to work with - and no fears of air bubbles, the film has tiny holes to let the air out...

I had to check - they don't have a full kit for the DSG (just the gear surround)

And the carbon door trims were $289 EUR - ouch!

I'm getting some stuff "gloss carbon dipped" at a place called immersion imaging in Brisbane. Looks like the real deal!
