Tint and metallic paint, tint was obviously a throw in so the mark up of that is included in the discount.
I left the on roads there because I think we tend to get more shafted on stamp duty than other states, but keep in mind our rego includes third party which in at least some other states I understand you need to take out separately.
Given my delayed delivery I should push for a little more.

I haven't been paying attention of late. My reference goes back to 2009 when i bought my mk5 gti. Mk6 90/118tsi sales were in full swing and there was a spreadsheet floating around at one stage of what people had bought with options etc.. There were a number of cars in that spreadsheet that couldn't be done. Things like that were one of the main reasons i stopped visiting here for a few years actually.
The pricing you have on yours is about as sharp as i've seen which surprises me, i'm assuming solitaire as you're SA but they always try and ram me on service pricing haha.
Oh, and to close this out
My drivers seat rails had some plastic jammed in them. There was something wrong after all.

Ahh yes I remember those spreadsheets.. and yes I couldn't quite believe what was being claimed back then either. When I was trying to find my 6 GTI and trying to avoid the six month wait I was looking at any dealer in Australia that still had some. However some of these cars were almost going above rrp (I'm sure VWA wouldn't have permitted that) and while I was lucky enough to secure an order using the more generous corporate pricing back then, the claims of 10-12% off deals were all over the place.
Which isn't to say some members didn't swing amazing deals as perhaps I have managed this time.
I hope the current active crowd is providing factual information, definitely helps us all.

I see you know your market very well!
