Have a look in the aftermarket accessories thread, I posted some links to UK based companies and one of them (i think it's the one with the links to the whiteline and eibach swaybars) also stocks the proper Forge diverter valve spacers....

I think that there are a recirculating BOV and "normal"

I sent a mail to forge motorsport for more precision and ask for the best BOV to fit on the Polo GTI 6r:
"The FMDV14TSI is just a adaptor plate to get the dumping noise on gear change.
The FMDVRTSI on the other hand is the best valve to get.
The reason for this is because the original OEM valve is very common to fail.
The diaphragm splits thus loosing boost and in other cases we have heard, is the plastic breaking off and getting sucked into the turbo causing major damage.
As you tune your vehicle you obviously produce more boost. This leads to the standard valve not being able to cope which makes them fail also.
With our valve its 100 times better than original.
There are many advantages to our valve such as being able to use different tension springs as you tune the vehicle, lifetime warranty, serviceable, quicker reaction time.
And of course, we have not used the diaphragm idea we have gone with piston so there is no reason for the valve to leak or fail."

Wow, That's amazing.
The OEM Valve has not been a diaphragm type for several years. The piston type (VW) has a pretty perfect record, not heard of a failure to date. Plastic pieces into the turbo? thats pretty far fetched when you look at the valve.
The spring doesn't hold boost, so that's a crock (in this case, the OE valve only uses the spring as a damper, its solenoid activated).
Any valve that dumps air for noise makes your car slower - FACT - It's a recirculating system.
Any DV with an alloy piston react's slower than a valve with 1/8th the mass (Plastic piston) makes your car slower - FACT.
Any valve with alloy to alloy friction surfaces requires maintenance, servicing & lubrication. If it siezes, it can cause damage (The exact r
reason why VW don't use them).
Not having a go at you, but the factory VW DV (piston style, as fitted to your new Polo) is the best on the market for so many reasons.
The standard valve has been tested to over 600hp & 30psi of boost - no issues. Save your cash & spend it on some other bits please!
Ha ha, You have to love some responses thes companies send out, the 6R polo GTI has only been on the market for 12 months, how would they know that there is a major fault?!
Listen to Guy, he has pulled that bad-boy engine apart to make nice goodies (says I waiting for an intercooler to become available....and upgraded DSG and differential goodies....) for it What was the 0-100kph time with stage 2 Guy, was it 5.6secs with the stock diverter valve?
If you're just after the noise, adapter plate is for you. Blow-off valves have no performance advantage over a diverter valve (Guy, please feel free to correct here) because they dump your un-required boost to the atmoshphere, hence, your forced induction system now has to re-spool everyhting back up to full boost again. A diverter valve dumps your excess boost back into the intake system so you're intake already has charged air in it, hence your forced induction system isn't required to get too 100% boost and doesn't need to work as hard.
